i have my eye on the new Konig Verdicts

17x7 in the front and 225-45 tires

with 17x8 in the back and 245-45 NT555 DRs...

will these fit?

i'm looking up the offset now... these are awsome rims...

what offset do these need to be?

Hrm, you don't think 17X8 will work up front? I was going to go 17X8 all the way around but with TSW Trophies instead. Would really liek to keep the same size wheel on both ends but if it won't fit someone please tell us smile.gif I've got Konig Tantrums on the RX7 I'll test fit asap so if you're not in too big a hurry that might help...

Depends on the offset and if you're using coilovers. I have 17x8.5s on the front under a stock fendered 240Z. 17x9's on the rear of the same stock fendered Z. Check out the details on my site (below) for the particulars. This is that max 17" stuff that will fit on a stock fendered 240Z.

Pete,

The key reason you can fit your 255's in the back of your car besides using the correct offset wheels is that your 8" springs are above the tires which give you more inboard room. Without doing this modification those meats would not fit in an unaltered wheel well - am I correct here. I'm convinced a 245 tire on a 17"x8" rim - again with the correct offset is the largest one can go without using much smaller diameter rims (14" or 15") with low profile tires which would look ridiculous on a Z - some people do this to Honda's though.

Well, sounds like my fears on 17X8 are baseless considering Pete's experience. However I'm still not crystall on the needed offset. I don't mind a spacer if that's what's needed but if I go too far the other way I'm hosed frown.gif ! I'm going to test fit the wheels aroound the house, measure quite a few times, hold my breathe, and order. Gimme' a little while to get brakes done first though. I WILL report my findings as I test fit stuff though just to help others out...
