Lewis Maudlin
Finally got my car running right. Issues here issues there, but the majority of the issues were timing. So in order to get my car running right, I have bought and not used the following: Power FC for 91-93 SR20DET with commander (used 1 week) _____ $1000 together shipped FC-Datalogit to hook laptop up to Power FC / lower 48 NEW JDM SARD adjustable fuel pressure regulator $100 plus shipping NEW HKS actuator $100 plus shipping NEW Walbro 255lph in tank fuel pump $90 shipped I am going to put the items on ebay if I don't hear from someone wanting them for a reasonable price. For people going to try the swap, here is what I have learned. The Power FC is great for someone who knows what they are doing and will make various changes to their setup. However, I went with the ROM tune from Enthalpy. Scott does a great job and tunes for your setup. You tell him what you need and a week later, you have it. If you get the Power FC, you have to have to the FC-Datalogit which you can change entire fuel maps with your PC. Without the FC-datalogit, you have to make change at least 800 individual settings by pressing buttons repeatedly and scrolling. This equals 1000's of button presses to change the map. The FC-Datalogit is a necessity for the Power FC. The SARD adjustable fuel pressure regulator is unnecessary since Scott at Enthalpy can tune for the higher fuel pressures cause by the stock regulator and the Walbro fuel pump. The stock fuel pressure regulator is also difficult to remove since it is built into the stock fuel rail. I bought the HKS actuator since I was having problems with mine. It turned out that one of the bolts holding the actuator in place had worked loose. I had a similar problem with the bolts on the turbo. Neither is anything a little tig weld couldn't fix. I never used the new JDM HKS actuator. If you are looking for a fuel pump for a Z, specify external. The internal fuel pump probably replaces the stock 240sx fuel pump fine, but you need the external for the Z. BKR7E's are the right plugs for 350 to 400hp SR20DET's. Well, they are the cheap version anyway. They are like $1.50 each compared to $12.99 iridium plugs. When you are fouling plugs to get your engine running right, it is better to foul $1.50 plugs than $12.99 plugs.

Lewis Maudlin
The SARD fittings are the stock fittings that they come with JDM. I don't know what size they are.
SR240Z
the sard fittings are usually generically -6an if they are not socketless
