Moridin
I'm not sure if anyone knows this yet, but I found out last weekend that the new super Z06 is truly being tested with intentions of being put into mass production. Supercharged to the tune of over 600HP. I found out through a certain tire engineer who was doing the development for the car at the Nurburgring. For those that thought 500HP was enough, guess again. Funny how you pick things up hanging around automotive journalists
280zwitha383
Su...Su...STINGRAY?!?! Me and my wife are going to die if they come out with a new stingray. Wait a minute. Maybe we should buy an old one before they become even more desireable.
Moridin
Ah yes' date=' the "blue devil... as it is being called.. This is old news and was reported last year... Mike[/quote'] I know its been around for awhile. I was excited to know GM is working with a certain tire manufacturer. It means they are very serious about the project with big intentions of production. From the pictures, the car could have just been a test bed, and to hear this changes it from a rumor to high possibility of reality.
Mikelly
Yea, but I see two problems there... A: They're experiencing a limited numbe of motor failures in the existing Z06...Probably need to resolve those issues first. B: That limited number produced will end up in collectors private collections and never see the light of a track. Mike
