Guest HALLOWEEN Z
I've got a 75 280z and one weekend I noticed one headlight wasn't working so I figured it was a light but it wasn't. I'm not getting a hot at the fuse for the lights so it's somewhere in between the battery and the fuse box. Everything else seems to work I noticed that it looks like the hot goes up into the rats nest of wires where all the plugs are. Does anyone know the wiring before the box? the wiring diagram in the chiltons doesn't show it.
veritech-z
Did you try the fusible links?
wal280z
http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/electrical.htm Open the pdf file for your year car- it should be a red wire feeding both R & L headlights. Are you saying it is hot on one and not the other? Are you sure you are on the supply side and not the fused side? (The inner column of the fuse box should be the supply)
