spork
What would the ceramic/DFL coating achieve? Not arguing' date=' just dont quite understand how that will help at all with engine performance?[/quote'] For a real quick description...you need to coat the runners to help keep the heat from the exhaust from soaking into the intake runners. It WILL make a differenece. That said, my car is putting about 525rwhp down (according to trap speed of 131mph and 3000lb weight). This is straight turbo. One of these days the car will get the nitrous kit I have laying around if I don't end up selling the car. 600rwhp is very attainable...pushing you over the 700hp mark.Once again, this isn't a stock bottom end. It has forged pistons and arp heardware, so the comparison isn't exactly the same as with the bimmer. Anyways, lets all just build some really fast Z's! (or 510's)...lol
