george.bryant
Hey everyone, I scored myself a manual conversion for free but it didnt have the flywheel or clutch so i need to get my hands on these bits. I was thinking of buying the clutch new, does anyone know if the RB clutches fit on the L series gear? Thanks
Ivan280zt
Yes I am using one right now from Pro Grip. It was on JTaylors Rb25t but since he went with auto I got his clutch and its running on my L-28t.

Ivan280zt
Well I cant get any more positive as I said its on my car right now and I have been running it for past few months. He used his old L28 clutch when he went with RB25 then I got it from him to use it on my L28. Man that clutch sure is a whore who btw finally gave up last night : (

AK-Z
well the RB25 tranny is the same as the KA24DE (dohc 240sx) tranny (from what I read on ka-t.org) and its already established that the KA tranny will work on a L28 with only a slight mod to the bell housing and minor ajdustments, so I'm also sure it will work. Not sure about the RB26 though
george.bryant
I rang repco and they can a comlpete clutch kit for the L20et for me at NZD$220 (thats around USD$137). That wasnt trade price, i'll check out other places 2mrw when they're open and I can get trade price at half of them.
turbobluestreak
have you guys checked out the RB20 aluminum flywheels? its kinda a joke when a company makes a 240mm flywheel for the rb20 and smaller L6 flywheel and yet don't list the larger flywheel as being an option for the L6 tbs
