Guest dan4011
hey guys, i ordered a turbo 280zxt 240mm flywheel off ebay, i got it in today and it looks the same as the flywheel on my 76 2 seater, what im wondering is did i get ripped off into buying a n/a flywheel or do i have 2 turbo flywheels, they both say e30 and look exactly the same. greenmonster80
Measure it. Turbo and 2+2's should be 240mm across...

Guest dan4011
and if this is a non turbo flywheel which im thinking it is considering the new turbo clutch i got seems to big on it, is there any way that i could make the stock sized flywheel work with the turbo clutch, thanks
zuhow
....i dont have anything to measure mm...... a simple desk ruler will work: 240 mm =9.45" 225 mm= 8.86"
Guest dan4011
well they both come in just shy of 9 inches, 225mm... looks like i got ripped off, could a 2+2 turbo flywheel be 225 or something, because this guy had the flywheel in his ebay auction listed as off an 83zxt and 240mm. this sucks... i waited 2 weeks te get a flywheel i already have, no i have to find another flywheel before i can put my motor in.i officially hate ebay. roger.svoboda
I've got a 2+2 flywheel which is 240 mm across the friction area and it says E30 so maybe that doesn't mean a thing. Have you checked local junk yards there are tons of 280 around.
Guest dan4011
yea well i talked to the seller and he thinks he shipped the wrong flywheel..., i went a local junkyard today and all i could find was an 83 nissan pickup motor but it didnt have a 240mm flywheel after taking it off in the 98 degree weather.haha, the guy had just crushed 2 2+2's. well if anyone has a 240mm flywheel ill buy it off you. thanks
Pyro
There are 9 bolts on the 240mm flywheel to mount the pressure plate. The 225mm has only 6. So, just count the number of pressure plate mounting holes to figure out which flywheel you have.
