Chewievette
I bought a T3 turbo earlier today that I found while scouring the local-ish junkyard. For $25 it'll at least gimme something to mockup with ...or so I thought. It definately has a T3 center section, I have a turbo coupe T3 so I know that it is a T3 center. Unfortunately the housings have me baffled. The turbine inlet flange is not square, it looks more like the chrysler 2.2 flange, but from what I've found online there was never a T3 installed on the 2.2. The turbine outlet looks like a chrysler also so I'm thinking that's where it come from. Do you guys know if a Garrett T3 was ever put on a chrysler? I'll try to get some pics up later if you need to see them
Chewievette
Gee, I just answered my own question. It seems to be a Turbo 2, a chrysler specific version of the T3, Apparently 2.2L guys want them so I'll probably pawn it off on one of them and buy a standard T3 to play with. Thanks anyways. veritech-z
Some of the old shelby cars had variable area turbos on them, what did you pull that off of? I think it was the turbo III cars though...
