Guest Kevinw
The end links on my 79 280zx's sway bar have snapped at the head of the bolt. The problem im having is that the metal spacer is now rusted to the link bolt. After several hits with a hammer and soaking in WD-40 no luck on freeing the spacer Help Me
JMortensen
Cut it off. You can buy 3/8" sleeves at the hardware store here in WA. Might want to check that first, but if you can there too, just cut it off. You might also want to take a look at WHY it happened. Are there dents in the frame rails or in the body where the end links were hitting? Does the sway bar hit something in the middle? Seems odd that they would just snap off, especially if it is both of them.
Guest Kevinw
Its not the stock bar, And it appears to me that when the previous owner installed it used some inadequit bolts and they snapped
JMortensen
I see now why this says delete me. I responded to the wrong post I guess. I did delete your other one so now the original question is gone. Would you mind restating it?
