240zV8
280z, 5 speed, very minimal rust, needs new head on the engine to run if i want to get it running or go with a new swap right away, but it's all together. i'm gonna offer $600....sound like a good start? The only thing i don't like is that it has a sunroof. i think i could get use to it, but other than that, it's stock and has a real good body and chassis....should i pick it up? here's some pic's

Phantom
The key is the rust. I would want to inspect the frame rails underneath, the battery box area, around the gas cap, the trailing edge of the hatch, the rocker panels, etc - very thoroughly before buying. I just can't imagine a rust free Z after 28 years in the Seattle area.
DavyZ
Make sure the sunroof doesn't leak---it'll cause rust in areas you never dreamed. I hated my sunroof (moonroof actually) that I had a bodyshop patch the roof with a new metal skin. Ah, no more leaks from the crappy weatherstrip. If it doesn't leak, you're good to go there.
