defrag010
soak them in WD40 for a few days, and then throw them at the ground as hard as you can. That's what I have to do at work whenever I have lifters collapse.
icesky
I am pretty sure that method will not work on these type of lifters Hey but thank I will try it on my 240z if it ever happens.
Owen
Z32DETT lifters are hydraulic, at least mine were. Take them out and rebuild them, instructions on TT.net

You can take the actual lifter part out of the bucket and throw it around. The only thing that throwing them around does is un-stick them.. once they are un-stuck, you should soak them some more to make sure they don't stick again the next time they are pressed down. This works on all hydraulic lifters.
Tombarace14
With Mitsu's we usally soak in oil and collapse them in a vise acouple times and resoak mainly for air issues though. Throwing them helps also, unless you lose sight of the darn thing.
Owen
I kept mine matched with the cam as well as the specific lobe when I did this, http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=917346
