I want to cut off my muffler till i can get some cash for a new exhaust system(no job). he thinks that cutting off the muffler will cause the exhaust fumes to get trapped under the car and get into the car causing health hazard. 510six Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 I wouldn`t do that in the State of California.Keep your muffler, If you have to have open exhaust I have a 2.5" exhaust cutout that`s left over from converting to 3".PM me if you want it. PapaCreech Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 hmm if you do that, eeeek, then you could bum 6bux off someone and go t advance or pepboys or whatever and buy a small bolt on turndown and that should help but thats only IF you do that, id just wait until you could buy a new muffler or build an exhaust.
