MaTTSuN Posted October 26, 2006 Share Posted October 26, 2006 well going to work on the 280Z with the 81 turbo again after its maiden voyage it was a little disapointing but its getting better. ive taken off my EGR and vacume pumps from the stock system. I was just wondering what else i can take off that is not needed i want the engine as clean and uncomplicated. there seems to be way to many things on the plenum. mike240zt Posted October 29, 2006 Share Posted October 29, 2006 I've always found most problems from these swaps are caused by dirty connections through the eccu wiring harness. that would be #1 and #2 cause is usually vacuum leaks. I see you're from vancouver. if u wanted to come see a very basic install you'd be more than welcome except i leave for a couple weeks monday for work. have a good running example here.
