Guest bizox Posted November 10, 2006 Share Posted November 10, 2006 ok i have a 280zx 82 n/a. i have modified the oem intake with a hack saw and a angle grinder and a apc 3in filter. a wide ass open cam from schnieder i think its stage 3 my stupid head ppl lost the spec card that came with it. i also bored the engine a whole .75mm now that i think about it it was probably a waste of money should of went for the 3.0L bore. and i disconnected the exhaust after the catalytic converter and it breathes in and out greatly oh yeah had the oem flywheel lightened. ok my problem is my car accelerates hard but not hard enough i still get beat by z28's and so fourth can i upgrade to the 84-86 300zx n/a injectors and would that be a big enough boost and are they low impedance like the 280zx's injectors. and this is my daily driver. any info or input would be great Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
big-phil Posted November 10, 2006 Share Posted November 10, 2006 whoa there tiger. You need to go to a cowtown Z car club meeting and talk to some of the people there for tips. Last night was the last meeting. Its every 2nd thursday of the month. You really should just drop a turbo in there. Then you wouldn't waste your gas on a z28, go for a Viper, ya, I said Viper.
