Guest killerbracing
Swapping in a TT 350 with a t5. How do I link up the driveline? The staked U-joints have me stumped.
love-my-V8-280Z
Just emailed you a bunch of data on drive shaft angle. Than noticed you asked about linking them not lineing them up.. Opps! LOL
Guest killerbracing
That was some great info. Truly grateful. Very useful with lowering a car. But you are right. I want to mate a t5 to the staked u-joint Z diff.
Forces
Contact your local driveline shop (if you have one). They should either have the conversion flange, like you'll find on the JTR web site, or they can order it in. I think I paid about $50 for mine. There are also some online stores out there that will make a d/s for you if you send them the exact measurements. Hope that helps. *EDIT* I used #1310 u joints. They are supposed to be pretty stout, but no the best.
silicone boy
I'm pretty sure that a T5 won't live too long behind a TT350. Heck, I worry about my T56 sometimes.
