zero
So I've been half-heartedly looking for another Z to drive around while I work on mine. I was scanning ebay when I came across this Z. It has 160k with 60 on a rebuilt engine, Some body rust but floors and frame rails aren't horrible. The interior is immaculate and everything works minus the clock(of course) and the rear defroster. It even has factory A/C that blows cold! I snatched it up on ebay for $790 which is an absolute steal for an east coast car. My dad and I picked it up from maryland yesterday and it performed flawlessly on the 200 mile trip home and the 50 mile trip to school. The previous owner was a big Z guy and had another, identical brown 2+2 that was in showroom condition. He was also a nissan parts dealer so all the wear parts and hoses and everything had been replaced recently. The car is honestly in much better shape than my 240 which I paid more for and went to florida to get. here are the pics.
Challenger
Looks good, Ive got a 78 2+2 I'm restoring. You have any plans for any performance parts or will it be kept stock and you work on your coupe? Good Luck!
b__sosick
love the wheels interior looks good!!! get ridda those bumpers and make it gogo faster what are your plans for it?
zero
For now I'm gonna keep it relatively stock. I might fix the rust on the body and paint it. I do plan on getting rid of or at least pushing in the bumpers a bit. I'll probably get a front airdam as well. As far as performance I think I might lower it a tad and do some basic simple mods like intake and a header. I would like to put a 5 speed in for the 4 speed as well. After I replace the engine in my 240, Ill take the cammed ported head from that and build either a stout l28 or a stroker. This car is too clean for me to tear apart too much. Challenger
I'll probably get a front airdam as well. Will you be doing the same air dam and bumper as your coupe? Im planning on getting the same urethane air dam and chrome euro bumper, theyre and huge improvement over the stock monster bumpers. Hey Papa Chreech would you mind sending some pictures of your 2+2, I'm trying to find as many pictures as possible of 2+2's to see what colors look best. Thanks
zero
hmm im not sure. I am on a pretty tight budget right now, and i dont want to not run any bumper because i think it looks too unfinished for this car. So i am thinking of getting something with an integrated bumper or something that looks like one just to save me the money of buying a smaller bumper.
