dat240zg
Guys: I was able to pick up a later (82-83) 15/16 master cylinder really cheaply. I recognize that it's the earlier ZX master that is typically used in the brake swap. When putting the master up the brake booster, it looks like the bolt pattern is correct left to right - it's top of the mounting lip that hits the vertical bolts on the brake booster. Here's my question: Could the lip be ground down to clear the studs without comprimising the master cylinder? If so, great. Is there another reason why the later master cylinder won't work? Thanks for your help guys. This project is getting close! Bryan Dat240zg
blueovalz
I did this at one time. If I remember correctly, it was a very small indentation or amount of grinding to get this to fit.
