510six Posted December 12, 2006 Author Share Posted December 12, 2006 I paid 1,495 for the twin disc kevlar drag race clutch.I live less than 3 hours from 10,000 rpm and visited the location, the owner had a big black cowboy hat and just started grabbing parts off the shelf (It was too cool).I even saw a big block in a Nova with a 300rwh nitrous kit put down almost 900rwh on the on site dyno with one of their three disc clutches.The clutch and flywheel is only 13lbs , but it works much better than the sintred iron Clutch Specialties disc and 2600lb pressure plate that needed to be resurfaced every 5000 street miles.It`s very progressive and works well in a street/track car. http://www.10000rpm.com/ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
510six Posted December 15, 2006 Author Share Posted December 15, 2006 The car was just tuned with 7.5 of boost and 30% methanol as fuel ( I will post a pic of the dattalog tonight) the intake temps dropped 75* instantly and the car was able to use 6* more timing under boost on a conservative tune.The car feels stupid fast for 7psi....can`t wait for 20+.
