jgkurz
Hi Folks, I searched for this question and was surprised not to find the info. Basically I need source for a Nissan style 4-bolt T3 turbine flange. I'm building a larger 3" downpipe and cannot seem to find anyone who has these flanges. Can someone enlighten me? Doug71zt
I had to cut my own out on a bandsaw for my first downpipe. There was none available aftermarket. Just trace the gasket, get the hole bored first and then cut the outside to shape in the bandsaw. Cheers Doug
Administrators RTz Posted January 3, 2007 Administrators Share Posted January 3, 2007 Ah heck John, you need a bigger turbo anyway... maybe one with the snazy V-bands??? LOL

Because I suck at fabrication my car would probably be on blocks for months. I think I might do the upgrade next winter so I can drive it this spring and summer. Going to a true mandrel 3" DP and 3" exhaust should improve boost response and give me a few more HP for cheap.

JustinOlson
If you can get me a gasket, I will have a couple of these flange made up. The shouldn't be more then $15-20 a piece. It would take a couple weeks to make it happen. Regards, Justin
zguy36
I have an old downpipe (3" mandrel) that fits the stock nissan turbo. If you want to buy it, you could take it and cut it up to fit your application. Let me know.

Scottie-GNZ
Seems there is stil a demand for these. Why dont someone organized a group buy and talk to Mazworx here in Orlando to punch them out on their CNC.

It worked well but I've hit it's limit. Did you make the flanges for your downpipes yourself or did you have a shop make them up? Also, do you remember if the DP pipes were 45 degree bends? Thanks! Scottie-GNZ
John, my flanges were CNC'd and the bends were 45*. The key was how the pipe was clocked on the flange to get clearance between the bellhousing and the tunnel.

linluv84
What about ebay flanges? There is a guy selling T3 exhaust flanges in mild steel for $18 incl shipping...
jgkurz
The T3 outlet flanges on eBay and everywhere else I believe are made for a Ford style 4-bolt outlet with 3.5" bolt spacing. The Nissan T3 4-bolt does not use a square 3.5" bolt spacing. It's more rectangular.
linluv84
Well, let me know if that 2.5" pipe ever ends up on ebay...
