srgunz Posted April 23, 2007 Share Posted April 23, 2007 In car L24 with header and 2.5" with a turbo muffler on the rear... Those turbo mufflers are no good and last for about 2 years. The very small internal holes that seperate chambers become plugged with rust and carbon. Yours sounds as though it is plugged now. It took me a long time to figure out what was going on with mine. Either that or your linkage is not correct and the butterflys are not full open at WOT. Or both. Sorry but your does not RPM like it should IMHO. bjhines Posted April 24, 2007 Share Posted April 24, 2007 It was a standard Dynomax turbo muffler. It is fairly quiet at low RPMs but it is still loud as hell at 6kRPM.
