It's been on in Japan for about 15 seasons (I only know that because they mentioned something about a guy that's been in it for the last 14 seasons), and only one guy has ever won the whole thing in all that time...It's like MXC on Spike TV, except with real athletes instead of joe off the street: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LJPGIjybBo It might be the best thing on tv... Needless to say I sat through the whole thing and saw the beginning to the very end and saw the only other guy to complete the course. Some of the things they do are amazing!
