I have been wanting to get rid of My Centerline Auto drags for quite some time now(I never liked them, satin, solid, ugly). And I decided that since its geting new paint, its geting new wheels.I wanted to go with the Weld Pro Stars.I started looking around, like on ebay and other places I thought I might save a few$$$$.I just completely redid My motor and it cost Me a bit more than I was planing,so I was looking for a deal.Well I ended up going with the Superlites because I just got such a good deal,I couldn't pass on it.Yea,everybody has them on there Drag Cars, but I got a deal I couldn't pass on.I got two brand new in the box rear wheels for $210 that Are the size I need(they sell in Summit and Jegs for $178.99 for one)And a Very good friend of My has the fronts to match that are mint, and I'm geting thoose for $100 for the pair.So for $310 bucks I have New wheels to go with the new paint. If I broke down and bought the Pro stars from Summit or Jegs it would have cost Me like $620 with out shiping and handeling. It would have easly been $650 or more.I don't want to sound like a Cheep Skate here, but the Wife is starting to see the winter Car budget get a little out of control.Plus I always thought Scotties and Myrons Cars looked good with thoose wheels.Sorry for rambling like this,I must be Happy about the deal I got. bonk.gif

If You go to the Members rides section on this site you can see what the Superlites look like. There isn't a good pic of Scotties rims but There ia a very nice shot of Myrons Car with the Superlites on it.If You want to see the Pro stars go the link on the non tech board on this site under" jap tins Car".There You can see Brads Red Z with the Pro stars. If You wanted to go with the Superlites, they can be bought in Datsun 4-lug pateren. No need to convert for thoose rims.even better,go to featured cars and You can see Pics of Myrons wheels.

Ron,

what size were your old rear wheels? you wouldnt happen to know the rear axle length flange to flange on your car do ya? i bought a nine inch narrowed to 34 inches flange to flange and im thinking after i did the math its gonna be too narrow ;< even with 15 inch wheels with wicked offsets. do you know how much the axles and brakes assemblies will add to the size? your cars stance is exactly what i want for mine. are you gonna sell your wheels?

thanks

stony

There are some pics in the members ride section of My Car,I think You can see the wheels. The one thing You would want to know is the back rims are drilled for tire screws.this is not a big deal, even if Your using Street tires you can screw them.I will take close ups of the rims tomorrow and send them to You.I will also measure My rear tomorrow or saturdayI'll sell all four for$200.The two fronts cost Me a little over $200 two years ago.All the rims are Mint. You pay shiping.
