EvilC
I got this for the Z from David Palermo aka 1Tuffz for x-mas. I have to say it is the best gift I have gotten in a long time. It is made to fit the t56 that I am working on at his house. I just thought I would share this with you guys. It will add more of just a personal touch to my car and soon EvilZ will be on the road come spring. PS if you are interested in having one made for yourself or any other parts contact David. He is really good friends with the guy who made mines and is also a fellow Z driver.
DavyZ
That's very cool and it matches your screen name too I don't think I'll be doing a "Davy Z" on a shift knob, but I would think of something else that's cool perhaps. Nice! Davy
DavyZ
I forgot to ask if the machinist can engrave on a sphere?...or will he need a flat surface like your shift knob. Davy
EvilC
I will find out for you.
DavyZ
That would be cool, thanks. I'd love a "HYBRIDZ" on a round aluminum shift knob. Also, EvilC, if you can find out a rough price too that'd be great. TIA. Davy
Guest viparz
What is that font. It looks awesome. Maybe I could get one done. VIPAR Z, it would go with the other decals I am putting in my interior.
1 tuff z
to keep the price within the reasonable range, he only 'engraves' on flat surfaces. prices are $50 for a billet alum knob; choice of threading-t56, stock z thread, t5, etc., with choice of 'z' logo on top-early 240 style 'z' through the 350 style 'z'. one off custom logo is $75, jimmy can provide an email 'proof' of the custom logo [like he did for evil z] prior to completion. he did a custom commercial grade polished titanium knob [you don't want to know what that cost me!] with old 240 'z' logo for my car, with a t56 thread tap-took 8 weeks just to get the titanium [slow due to ramped up defense contractors needs for iraq-what we were told]. if you're interested your own custom z knob, please contact jimmy directly-via email at; jz90na@yahoo.com
