Adam393
I went to a U-Pull-It place in KY this weekend and tore out the stopwatch gauge from a 280ZX since i though it was cool, ive never seen that kind of thing on a car. But i was thinking how to make it work with my 240, obviously id have to get another pod to put it in, but how does the gauge work? I was in a rush and tore off the circuit board, but i still have the wires on the gauge, do i just plug them into a power source or did i need that circuit board? Thanks for any help
mario_82_ZXT
Get a wiring diagram. There's at least two pairs of wires I think. One needs power full time (to keep time while the key is off), one lights the LCD display. You'll be lucky if it works nice. Even after resoldering mine, it sometimes resets itself. It does look cool and old school. Mario
jknc90
I've got the same problem excepts when i took the timer out i got the whole gauge assembly w/ circuit board, I want to use the lap timer in my 72 240z. Is the installation any different than what was said by Mario?
