csz
I just got my cablex Fri. late evening. Does anyone running a t56 with a cablex know the number of teeth on the exciter gear? I do not even know what the exciter gear is! Thanks for any input.
m1noel
I cant remember either, it was either 17, or 40. I set mine up one way and it was way off so I went with the other, then went out with my GPS and found it was 8% off so I just used their numbers adjusted the 8% changed the switches and now it is on exactly. Only took me 2 runs down the road to make it work. What's your gear ratio and tire size? Mike
csz
Thanks for the reply. I run 255/45/17 rear tire with a 4.38:1 lsd.
m1noel
Yeah, thats way different than my setup but it should be easy to figure out. I really think it was 17 though. And make sure you hook it up directly to the VSS, not out of the ECM. I found out that won't work. MIke
csz
Thanks for your time. I will install sometime this week along with a air fuel meter while the cars on jack stands.
m1noel
So, I get a CableX figure of 57705. Try 58800 so switches 3,6,10, and 11 should be on. And make sure #12 is off. That should get you in the ball park.
