Guest TAlchemist
Sorry if this has been done before but i am new to this and to z's. I just got a 1978 280z and am wondering what is the best shocks, springs, ect to get to replace old stock suspension. I have the motorsports catalog and see 3 different shocks. The car will be for driving fast, not really racing but i dont care if it gets a little stiff. thanks

DavyZ
Mike is right--we have hashed out all kinds of combos and many have posted what they are running. That said, if you just want a good handling Z, some stiffer lowering springs (like MSA's) and their sway bars, and the poly graphite bushings all go into making a car handle well. Of course, then there are quality wheels and tires. Your budget and your driving style determine what you will buy. Just food for thought.
