Tim240z
Almost done with my suspension, so I can get the R230 all finished...FINALLY!! I've spent countless hours wirebrushing and sanding and painting my lower control arms and strut housings....now they look so nice that I hate to hang them under the car, outta site! If they aren't showing go to my page, they're posted on new stuff page. Tim

Tim240z
FL327, I had hoped to have all the R230 stuff sorted by now, but for one reason or another (work and Family considerations) I am about two months behind schedule. I am going to finish mounting the suspension this weekend, and start ordering the sideshafts, driveshaft etc. I hope to be able to start test fitting it all in a couple of weekends (depending on how long Speedway takes with the sideshafts). I will definitely let everyone know and post specs and pictures. Tim
Guest Anonymous
What is your spring height and weight rating ?? Are the struts sectioned? Is that lower spring perch for the coilovers , the original welding bead for the perch for the stock springs??? What is the threaded sleeve length???? Guest JAMIE T
Looking very nice!!! BTW, how much should I expect to pay for an R230 from a Q45? I have a lead on one out of a '91 Q45 for $375 complete with the axles. Is that an ok deal or should I keep looking? Also, do all years of Q45's share the same rear? Tim240z
I got mine (1994 Q45) for $280 with the sideshafts, so I guess your deal is ok but not outstanding. See if he will throw in the driveshaft for free, then it will be better. I'm pretty sure they are all the same (maybe ratios differ??). I have pictures of mine on my site, so you can see if it's different. Tim
Guest Anonymous
Tim 240 Z... would you please address my earlier questions?
Tim240z
LJohnson, All my stuff is from Mike (scca). His web site is at fonebooth.com . The sleeves are 4 inch. The spring rates are 225lb in front and 250 rear. The sleeves rest on the welds from the original spring perches. The strut tubes are not sectioned. I don't want my car resting in the weeds, so I won't need to lower it to the point where sectioning is necessary. Tim
