kvansic162
My TPS readings are closed:0 WOT:168 ...are those good values or do I need to adjust. I'm using a 240SX TPS . I read in the manual the WOT should be 178?
z-ya
Those numbers are fine for a 240SX TB. The actual TPS determines the WOT number (or resistance). Even two identical 240SX TPS may have a different WOT number.
big-phil
should it always read "0" when closed?
trwebb26
To check to see if it is "ok" - turn on the throttle position guage in megatune and make sure that it reads 0% without your foot off of the peddle. AS SOON as you start to put your foot down - the guage should start to increase. With your foot to the floor - the guage should read 100%. If it does all of this - you should be good. big-phil
Phil, what is the modification you are doing to the mega squirt on you tube? I was showing what you have to do to it before you install it in the car, and also I replaced the vb921 that fires the coil. I thought mine went bad, but that was not it. It was the optical sensor in the distributor that went bad.
