LS1 240Z Posted April 2, 2007 Share Posted April 2, 2007 what have you guys done for wheel tubs once you have backhalved your car? i was looking at summits tubs.. and for 73 bucks for 2 isnt bad, but i think that you could make some fairly easily, anybody have any suggestions? BirdmanZ Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 I always thought of using some tubs from a school bus. They are pretty big seeing as how they fit two tires in there. He said the cool thing was that it already had beads in it so it looked pretty good. DHale_510 Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 If you want a compound curved section [solid axle conversion?], splicing in a cut down trailer fender works, is about the right radius, and is cheap.
