Guest Dashibhs2004
For those of you looking for a boot for that big bore throttle body and are having problems, marine wet exhaust hose. 2 3/4" inner diameter is what you would need for a 60mm throttle body. You can get many different sizes of hose but its one piece so if you wanted to go with a bigger tb you would have to wrap your airflow meter with black tape or somethin till it sealed.. at any rate hope that helps some of you needing ideas for intake pieces for the 240 sx throttle body. Administrators BRAAP Posted April 2, 2009 Administrators Share Posted April 2, 2009 Curious, for those running the OE EFI in their S-30 with the 60mm TB conversion, what else are you guys using besides the above for the intake boot between the TB and AFM? woldson
I was thinking of seranwrap, if I ever used mine. Some time ago you had mentioned about volumes for the runners and stuff, and that made alot of sense to me. Mabey some day, but it needs to match all the way into combution camber and out. Still may use seranwrap and gorrilla tape;)
woldson
I will also note that I have a piece of plastic sewage pipe for my cold air intake!!! The K/N filter fit like a glove!
Administrators BRAAP Posted April 2, 2009 Administrators Share Posted April 2, 2009 Moldson, Saran wrap is only to be used on exotics. Our Datsuns just aren't worthy...

ckolander
I was just wondering what years 240zx are the best to pull the tb's off for our cars.
