260ZRED
where is it every one is tapping in to the coolant system for the turbo? If your answer is the heater hose that is what I thought. is there any where else? there is a plug just under the exhaust below 5 and 6 and I was wondering if this is an acceptable place to source coolant for the turbo? also possably returning to the system at the thermostat? I am just trying to keep thing a little nicer looking under the hood. thanks.
Tony D
http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=120771 Towards the end, turbo cooling is addressed. Sourcing is on positive pressure side (lower block tap is discussed in my other thread), and return is on lower radiator hose side.
260ZRED
thanks very much. that was great help. I think I will end up using the coolant suply for the throttle body. this should be enogh to give ample supply of coolant to the turbo, yes?
