stagefumer11
just been looking at this http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=95003672 Id presume its to big for a nice l28et im building, it would i be able to swap over the compressor wheel and cover onto my new hx30w ? mtcookson
The compressor should support around 1,000 hp or so... but the turbine would definitely be too big to get that thing to spool on an L28. As for a hybrid, I know a lot of people do an HX35/40 hybrid but I've not heard of anyone doing any HX55 hybrids, especially with an HX30. I've not heard of any HX30 hybrids at all (not that it can't be done, I've just not seen it done).
dosquattro
Damn! That thing probably wouldn't start spooling till 5th gear on the highway. That's pretty massive. Let alone if you fit underneath the intake manifold using the stock L28ET manifold swapped to a T4 flange. Save your money and find something smaller.
