bigballinzx
My Z is nearly complete but I have one major problem left. When you start the car the steering wheel goes nuts jerking left to right very violently. I have a 94 LT-1 in a 1990 300zx. The LT-1 pump is hooked into the 300zx rack and we cant figure out what the deal is. There is a power steering pressure sender on a stock 300zx that wasnt reinstalled but I dont think that would cause this problem. The engine has been wired directly into the Nissan wiring so that there are no toggle switches and there is only the LT1 ecu, no 300zx ecu. Has anyone ever experienced this or heard of it? Could the 300zx power steering module possibly be getting no signal? Any input would be appreciated.
deja
You may have air in the lines. Try turning the steering wheel back and forth many times and see if it improves.
