Guest Anonymous Posted April 25, 2002 Share Posted April 25, 2002 I just got a new set of rims and I need to replace the wheel studs with longer ones, now I can do the front pretty easy but is there a trick to doing the rears. johnc Posted April 25, 2002 Share Posted April 25, 2002 Take a 1" diameter hole saw and bore a hole in the backing plate. You'll have to remove the halfshaft, remove the brake drum, and figure out where to place the hole. Then from the backside, use the hole saw and bore away.
