cygnusx1
I was shopping at Summit for fuel filters and noticed a huge range of prices for the washable aluminum bodied ones. The micron size of them swings all over the place. What would be an acceptable micron size for the main fuel filter in a fuel injection system? I realize that smaller micron is better for filtering but worse for flow capacity. Some of them run into the 100's of dollars which seems outrageous. I know factory fuel filters GM, Nissan.....are cheaper and good enough but the Aluminum ones have a cool factor, and are already setup for AN connection and are reuseable. johnc
40 to 60 micron should be fine.
cygnusx1
Great, thanks John. In that range, there are some pretty good deals.
