Owen
I think I tossed my ebrake cable on my 240Z. Do I need to drop the diff and everything in order to get a new one installed back in? Please tell me no.... Thanks. Owen
Guest scca
you dont "need" to but it makes it far easier. i have done about 10 sets of cables and i dont pull the diff to do it. you will need 2 short flat screwdrivers to pull on both sides of the clips to get them out with the diff in place. its hard when you are on your back on the floor- a hoist would make your life easier. its not something to look forward to doing.. Owen
Great....I knew I shoulda kept that thing! BTW, what's the status on the ebrake adapter for the 240SX calipers? I'm just gonna wait on these and do the brake cable at the same time. Owen

Modern Motorsports Ltd
Mike, What is the status of the Ebrake Adaptor? Danno74Z Danno, Owen & others (~15), I may as well update you with Mike's info from a phone chat I had with him just this Wednesday. Mike plans to get to making the ebrake extensions and DIY schematics this wknd. The extensions will include the hardware which Mike's also up on. Once those are done quite a few very patient Z enthusiasts will be happy to be able to complete their rear disk swap ebrake hookup. He passed on some differences between early and late cable hookups that I'm not crystal clear on yet, but that's why that's been his baby from the start.
