tlmaniac Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 unless you have done a lot of work on a z i would suggest you read the turbo faq on z31performance.com. the swap you are talking about takes lots of money and time. im doing a similar swap but with a vg30det from a cima. there is nothing about this swap that is a bolt in. well you can bolt the t5 trans from the vg30 to the det,tt and bolt the trans crossmember to the car but thats as far as bolt ins go. the oil pan from the tt will need notching to miss the rack the left side motor mount has to be fabbed from the block to the frame of the car the right side is verry cloce but needs a little modding as well. do like the rest of the guys here have said mod the stock vg30et and be happy.
