G.I.jonas Posted May 24, 2007 Share Posted May 24, 2007 acrylic laquer-laquer thinner acrylic enamel-acrylic enamel reducer(fancy laquer thinner) acrylic latex enamel-are you painting a house? oil based laquer-??? urethane-urethane reducer alkyd enamels-mineral spirits As far as cleaning,laquer thinner should cut most or all of these.You need to know what kind of paint you want to use and once decided you will simply want to stick with the recommended reducer for that product(or look on the can!!).
