ruggedbert Posted May 28, 2007 Share Posted May 28, 2007 I came across a brand new Garrett T04B59. The hot side is .48 and the cold side is .60. I believe it is a 59 trim. I got a pretty good deal on it so I bought it right away. Now im worried if this turbo is not optimal for my setup! So this is what ill be running. L28et .40 over, forged pistons, shot peened rods, 2.5 inch dp, ported non egr intake manifold, 60mm tb, Jet hot coated exhaust manifold, TEC II, 550cc injectors, and a front mount intercooler. My question is.... 1) what is the best way to mount this turbo on the stock manifold 2) is this turbo even worth putting on my setup? What will the boost characteristics be like? 3) What waste gate should I go with and how/who do I go to to get it installed?
