MonkeyKnifeFighter
I'm at work and don't have time to search - I was slowing down for a stoplight earlier and I heard a clunk (I think it came from the rear). The car dramatically pulled to the left as I continued applying the brakes. I was able to counter steer and righted the car in the lane. I pulled over and visually inspected the car and couldn’t spot anything. I was only a few blocks from work so I decided to drive it. It drove fine except for when braking: Stopping normally less that 20 mph was fine. Braking any faster than that and the car pulls hard to the left. Any idea what the problem is? Also, I’m at work – 25 miles from home. Assuming that I shouldn’t drive it home – would you drive it to a shop or have it towed. THANK YOU. lbhsbZ
If the pedal feels OK, drive it home....just be careful and take it easy on the brakes, leaving yourself plenty of room to stop. When you get home, take the rear wheel off the side its NOT pulling to, and see what broke.
alexideways
Sounds like one of the spring holding the shoes in place broke. Happened to me once. (not on the Z though.)
