Hi-temp silicone question

Is the crack easily accessible without having to remove too many parts. If so and the car is drivable then take to to a place that does welding and have them put a quick weld on it. It would probibly be easier and quicker than waiting for glue to dry.

I don't think silicone will hold. If you have to use glue then try "JB Weld", if it is on the exhaust side then take a close look to see if JB weld will hold under that heat.

I developed a leak on my Turbo Tom exhaust manifold. I need to take the easiest fix at this time. Will hi-temp silicone sealant do the job? It is only a small leak.

Thanks

John

I'm sorry that I did not make my problem clear. It is the gasket that is leaking. I think that the manifold or the head maybe warped so I thought instead of removing the head I would just put on the hi-temp silicone on the gasket. I thought maybe someone has done this. I remember at one time a company was advertising that you could assemble an entire engine using just their silicone sealant.
