george.bryant Posted June 12, 2007 Share Posted June 12, 2007 Hey everyone, I'm having a blonde moment! I have all my engine back together after fitting a new head and head gasket. I went to start it and realised I had disconnected the battery leads. Where do they go....? 1: Where does the positive battery power cable connect to (does it connect to starter??)?? 2: Where does the negative battery power cable connect to (does it connect to the block or....?) bschiltz Posted June 12, 2007 Share Posted June 12, 2007 The pos connects to the starter terminal, the neg is a ground. It connects to the chassis (pretty much anywhere).
