Guest Anonymous
My father and I are finishing up a Hybrid 260z. We have a small block 350, with about 350hp. We would like to beef up the motor, but don't think the stock 260z rearend will hold up. We are currently looking for any suggestions that would help us to create a better rear end. V8ZRACER260Z
If you are running a R200 rear you should have no problems. The R180 can be prone to failure. Check threads or use the search feature to find photos of these rearend to identify which one you have. Rick
denny411
Jeremy,The r200 will easily handle any street engine, and most race engines for that matter. there are a couple guys here running in the 9`s with r200`s and the stock u joint axles. Guest zfan
Just make sure to use u-joints that are solid not with the zircs. Buy the brute force solid ones at Auto Zone. Mike
Guest DISCUS
I am using the R200 behind my LT1 350, minor mods approx 300 HP with great results. Easy swap!
