Newbie with a subframe question . . .

Hey gang,

I've got a 84 300zx that I'm playing with and I need some help with subframe connectors. Does anyone make a set or am I on my own?

I've already cracked 2 windshields and before I replace another, I'd like to solve the problem. (Removing the slicks is NOT an option ;) )

Thanks!!

Don

I can`t help with the availability of sub frame connectors, but I would suggest putting them in along with a roll bar or a cage. Both would help to stiffen the body, and if your running the hell out of it, the added safety wouldn`t hurt any ;)

Does your car have t-tops or is it rusty? It`s hard for me to imagine that much body flex if not. The zx`s were heavier and should be more rigid than the earlier Z`s

It's a t-top car with no rust (one good thing about California) but I do launch the piss out of it.

The only tires I have for it are the ET Streets it stis on all the time and it leaves on a 100hp hit of N2O. Fun, but apparently not a recepie for a happy frame

I'd like to avoid the cage because that would kinda hurt my ability to "sneak up" on unsuspecting rice-boys at the local hangouts.
