whis
Okay, so... The diff mount doesn't line up with the bolt holes on the bottom of the car. Boo... Figures, anyways, heres a picture. I circled the points, just to make sure it was easy to spot. Heres a picture of the rest of the stuff. Anyways, can anybody find the part that I didn't put in correctly? It's a 1976 280Z. I just can't find what I did wrong, because it all looks like the drawing and it looks like when I took it out. Sigh. Thanks, Whisler
Administrators BRAAP Posted July 11, 2007 Administrators Share Posted July 11, 2007 I GOT IT!!!! This one’s EASY! Flip the mustache bar around. That is the part that attaches to the back of your diff. You installed it backwards.

whis
Cape? Ha. So a 280Z has the damn mustache bar backwards from a 240Z? Sorry, just all of the pictures I looked at (Been at this a for a few hours) showed it the way it was. $#*(&(#$&%*(#$%! Thanks
Administrators BRAAP Posted July 12, 2007 Administrators Share Posted July 12, 2007 As jtmny1999 made mention, the R200 uses a different mustache bar than the R-180. R-200’s require the R-200 mustache bar and R-180s require the R-180 mustache bars. HTH, Paul
