Guest Anonymous
I am in the middle of swapping over from L28 engine to 350 V8, I presenting have lower springs on my car but they are way to low for Houston,Tx streets and my exhaust rubs constantly. My question is what springs are you guys using when converting over to V8 engines. I would like to possible stay with the orginal setup and , not go to coilovers. Any advice would be appreciated. Mikelly
It KILLS me to give them business... But here goes... I used Motorsport Springs on my 383 stroker conversion. They worked fine, and lowered the car about an inch, which is plenty. I'd look for a decent aftermarket spring from Suspension Techniques or any of the big makers...Eibach still makes them I think! Just keep at about an inch, and make sure the spring rates are in the 160#+ range. Good Luck! Mike
dsommer
Try shox.com, ask for a quote on line and they will send pricing for a complete package. Each piece broken out seperatly. Remember if running lowering springs run a decent strut (NOT KYB's) I recomend Tokico's. David
