Guest SpudZ
Hey, I am in the process of fixing the camber problem I have on my car and need to know how the front strut housing attaches to the lower control arm assembly before I start pulling stuff off. This is my first time I have torn into a Z's suspension and I am trying to learn as much as possible. Thanks again !!
Mikelly
Inboard of the control arm is the bolt that connects the control arm to the Crossmember... 19mm wrench of ratchet and socket will break that loose... Outboard side has the sway bar, as well as the TC rod bolts (Both require 14mm wrench/ socket) and the two bolts that connect the control arm to the Strut assembly... Those require a 12mm socket/wrench... That is it in a nutshell... swapping out control arms should take no more than an hour for both sides if you have the right tools! Guest SpudZ
Thanks Mike I am not sure if the front drivers side strut housing is bent or not. It appears that its not seated correctly at the base or it is truely is bent.
