Guest BadKarmaCreepin
i've seen a bunch of cars do this (5-speed) where they're sitting still and just roast the back tires with the front's stuck in place. is that just the e-brake? or is there something else going on? like this little POS z3 did it while i was sitting waiting for my bus, and i was like, "i don't get it" thanks. Tim240z
Usually just holding the brake pedal and side stepping the agas pedal is enough to do it. The rear brakes don't hold as tight as the fronts. Otherwise installing a line lock on the front brakes will work better. Tim
CruxGNZ
It's kinda like using both feet to control the go pedal, the brake, and the clutch. Simply put the heel of your right foot on the brake and the toe of your right foot on the go pedal, then use the left foot to control the clutch. Takes a while to get it right without frying your clutch or stalling out. !M!
Tim240z
Hmmm, Matt, I've never tried it that way...I've always put my 'toes' on the brake pedal and used my heel on the accelerator....maybe your way is easier...I'll have to try it (when the V8 Z is done, the L24 will just poop in it's pants if I try it) Tim

jaime240z
Yeah, and if you've got a clutch DON"T pull up on the e-brake while trying to smoke the tires. That only works for front wheel drive.
