HybridZ

another milestone for my hybridz

i would like the intake setup you have, but even just that first elbow would be nice. like i said earlier mine is huge, ugly, alluminum, and just pisses me off. does that first bend reduce? im not 100% sure but the MAF is smaller then the TB right?

yes, the maf is smaller dia then the tb. yes, the first bend for the tb is a reduction-got that one from mike at jtr. i cut down the end at the tb to pull the elbow closer to the tb -also slotted it for more 'closeness'. my goal was to move the intake portion that comes across the front of the engine closer to the engine itself, leaving more room for the upper rad hose. btw, scott at wizard also made the alum tube you see as part of my upper rad hose. what u don't see is the crafty 't' he tig welded to it to accomodate the steam tube for the heads. i turned it so it's at the bottom and virtually invisible.

call mike at new era, he should be able to get the elbow you need.

Ran the Z Mon-Tues this week at Watkins Glen Intl [WGI], got to run the short course Tues afternoon and passed the 18,000 mile mark on my LS1 swap. The Z consistently knocks down sub 2:20 times on street tires seeing about 145mph on the back straight before I chicken out and jump into the brakes!

None of this would be possible without HybridZ!!
