djz
Yes, but it depends on the offset of the wheels. I've got 235 45 17s and 255 40 17s under my stock body car.

HeatRaveR
Heh, good luck finding 225/55-15 tires. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compare1.jsp?width=225%2F&ratio=55&diameter=15&startIndex=0&search=true&pagelen=20&pagenum=1&pagemark=1&RunFlat=All&x=70&y=7 Tire Rack only has 3 tires in that size, 2 of which are competition tires that would be a waste on street driving. And the 3rd is obnoxiously expensive and isn't even that great of a tire. http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/searchTiresBySize.do?rc=CEBINT&cs=225&ar=55&rd=15&rcc= As you can see, tires.com doesn't even have anything in that size. If anyone ever finds a decent tire in this size, I'd sure like to know!

Bartman
Are you going for the stretched tire look? 225 is awfully narrow for a 9.5" wide wheel. I'm running 275's on my 9.5's.

rdsk8ter
are those the 9.5s in your pic? if so with a wide body kit should i go wider rims like a 12?
Bartman
are those the 9.5s in your pic? if so with a wide body kit should i go wider rims like a 12?Yes, the 9.5's are in the pic. You can probably go wider, but you're really limited in tire selection on a 15" diameter wheel. Here's a link to a stock fendered ZX with 9.5's on the back.http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=123634

rdsk8ter
biggest they make is a 16x9.5 any suggestions?
VinhZXT
The ZXs have wider body then the earlier Zcars. With the wide body on the ZX you can put pretty wide rims/tires in the back. It is just a matter of finding the rims with the right offset. Otherwise you will have to settle for the adaptors. There is no body can help you in your case unless you bring your car to a rim making company so they can measure the back spacing and the width of the rim to fill your fenders. One other thing I don't understand is there is no one makes rims in size of 9.5" width. The rims come in 8", 9" 10" etc. However and 8" rims actually measured wider than 8" because of the outter lips of the rims. So my suggestion to you is to go to discount tires direct and understand the rim sizes, off sets and back spacing etc. Then do your own measurements on your car and then talk to the tires company and see what they suggest and then go from there.
